Community Groups

A "community group" is a gathering of people who want to connect with one another, build community and grow spiritually. Groups meet to explore a specific area of interest over the course of several weeks, and usually include teaching, personal stories and small group discussion.

Community groups are a safe place for you to grow and engage. We won't make you wear a name tag or require that you say anything. But we do hope you'll have a cup of delicious coffee. It's free!

Community groups meet at various locations throughout the city. Be sure to check details for time and location.

Repenting of Religion

Whether we realize it or not, some of us have bought into the lie of religion - the lie of judgment - missing the whole love-giving relationship that Jesus had portrayed for us to live. It's time that we leave judging behind. This six-week study is based on the book, "Repenting of Religion," by Greg Boyd. Reading the book in conjunction with this study is recommended, though purchasing the book is not required.

Repenting of Religion meets from 6:30-7:30 pm each Wednesday, June 30th - August 4th (6 weeks) at the Cullman County Museum (link) located at 211 2nd Avenue NE, Cullman, AL 35055. No need to reserve a spot. Unfortunately, childcare is not provided for this group.

Current Message - Simplicity

Life is complicated. There's little that's simple about it. Between our work, family commitments, and personal responsibilities, the last thing we need is more on our plate. Faith and church don't have to be complex. This launch series of Catalyst Church is designed around our desire to simplify church and share our mission.
